The Carte Blanche collection by Serax, designed by Dutch designer Annebet Philips, reimagines everyday tableware through a playful, graphic and contemporary approach.
Inspired by simple cardboard prototypes, the collection deliberately preserves the folds, irregular edges and slightly asymmetrical shapes of the original sketches. Translated into porcelain, these details give every piece a distinctive character, as if it had been drawn directly onto the table by hand.
Hand-painted black lines emphasize the irregular contours and add a spontaneous artistic touch.
The Carte Blanche espresso cup and saucer turns the everyday coffee ritual into a playful design experience. Inspired by a hand-cut cardboard prototype, its irregular silhouette preserves the folds and spontaneous lines of the original model.
